The
lodge has the traditional and rustic design of Rio Amazonas houses.
Each bungalow – rooms, restaurant, lobby, bar and hammock
bungalow is totally protected by screens (they avoid mosquitoes
to enter) and is connected by sidewalks with roofs of palm leaves,
accomplishing security standards. The rooms are distributed in
14 Bungalows of 2 rooms each, making in total 28 rooms in doubles,
triples, and quadruples, all with private bathroom. The water
that supplies the rooms come from a crystalline water well. The
electric generator is used for short periods: 2 hours in the morning
and approximately 5 hours during night. From 10.00 p.m thru 06.00
a.m. Zungarococha Bungalows are illuminated by lamps of kerosene
giving a magic environment to the place.
